HR Advisor
Location: London (Field Based)
Salary: £Competitive
Type: 6 Months FTC

SkyBlue Solutions are currently recruiting a field-based HR Advisor to provide advice, support, guidance and training on people management issues. This is a 6 month FTC with a base of London.

Duties will include but won't be limited to:
*Provide guidance & practical expertise to line managers on policy related issues to ensure the best performance of both their team as a whole and the individuals within it (this includes providing support in disciplinaries, grievances, appeals and performance management issues, ensuring notes and letters are produced)
*Ensure that queries are dealt with in accordance with the timescales set out in the SLA
*Provide support during any investigation process, for example a complaint from an employee
*Provide support to managers in long-term sick cases, including Occupational Health/Ill Health retirement. Pro-actively review and action long-term sickness cases and frequent short-term sickness cases
*Provide support to managers on site dealing with other issues such as a home visits
*Undertake employee consultation as part of TUPE/reorganisation, by providing support to managers in 1-2-1's, data gathering and managing letter production
*Provide education and coaching to line managers
*Highlight issues with a strategic, legal or employee relations impact to the HRBP
*Support the HRBP in the collation and analysis of HR information, including the monitoring of HR activity against key performance metrics, to ensured that HR is clearly 'adding value' to the business
*Ensure that the HRBP and line managers are fully supported with issues around organisational change and development, such as reorganisation, mobilisation/de-mobilisation, acquisitions and disposals, including ensuring 'due diligence' and effective communication
*Support HRBP in work winning process - for example, providing support at open days, supporting in the production of bid documentation, providing support to the mobilisation process
*Actively contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives aimed at improving people management and business performance
*Communicate with and provide data to union reps
*Assist managers in dealing with CRB issues and bad references
*Provide interview support for Level D and below as required

Essential Requirements:
*Degree educated or equivalent and CIPD qualified
*Previous experience on full HR responsibility of a large contract
*Outstanding ER and IR experience and delivery
*Excellent communication skills
*Leadership abilities and experience must have inspired and led an HR team
*Ability to make difficult decisions and challenge leaders, managers or employees when necessary
*Ability to understand business financials and how HR can impact
*Strategic abilities - influencing and aligning strategy
*Influencing and collaboration skills ability to provide partnering at all levels of the organisation cross-functionally
*Strong track record of delivering engagement programmes in a fast paced growing environment

Due to the immediate requirement for this role, successful candidate should be available for an immediate start. The nature of the contract will require a CRB check to be carried out.
