Stride (Part of the STR Group of Companies) are currently working on behalf of a client to recruit for the following position:

Location of the job: Westminster Bridge Road, London, SE1

Will parking be available? No
Locations to cover: to cover London offices and occasionally Essex
Is driving licence required? Yes-Must have access to own car

Pay rate per hour: £24.75 PAYE/ £31.20 LTD/Umbrella
Will expenses be covered? Mileage-45p

Contract type: 12 weeks with possible extension
Weekly hours: 35
Working hours and breaks: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Start date: ASAP
Interview date: ASAP
Interview format: Informal interview followed by formal F2F
Is DBS required? No

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Facilities Manager based at our clients Head Office at Westminster Bridge Road. The purpose of the role is to deliver the day to day operations across the property portfolio to a high-quality contributing to a safe and secure working environment for internal stakeholders, visitors and contractors. They will work closely with and report to the Facilities Operations Manager and have responsibility for a team of Facilities Assistants.
Essential Criteria:
A good understanding of statutory regulations and approved codes of practice (ACOP); Fire, Legionella, Asbestos, Gas, Electricity et al;
Experience of working in a similar role, supporting a property portfolio and several service lines within an operations team;
Stakeholder management experience;
Experience of dealing with Facilities Management delivered through a mixed economy of in-house and outsourced provision;
Being fully conversant with Health & Safety legislation
Excellent organisational skills
Able to demonstrate experience in a similar role
Membership with BIFM
IOSH Managing safely or NEBOSH General Certificate
Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative in a team environment;
Collaborative and influencing skills;
High level IT skills (MS Office) and generally good technological awareness;
Demonstrate a commitment to continued profession development;
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets;
Does not allow difficulties to get in the way of quality and final delivery
